The P.L.A.Y. School presents a special workshop for educators and caregivers who work with children ages 1-8 and have an interest in learning more about incorporating play into their day!
Two In-service hours will be given.
With the ever-growing push for academic readiness and evidence-based instruction, many providers struggle with incorporating quantitative academic learning into a play-based setting. In this interactive workshop, we define play, discuss it’s importance in early learning, and look at the spectrum of play-based learning. We then explore lesson-planning ideas, tips and tools to infuse play centers, art, playground time and small group time with meaningful, engaging interactions that seamlessly blend play with early-learning standards.
Please note: This is the same workshop that P.L.A.Y. School will be presenting at the upcoming 2023 National NAEYC Conference in Nashville.
