OUR COMMuNITY

Our community partnerships, programs and events create opportunities to connect our school family with our South Palm Beach County community, as well as important family resources. We use these partnerships and opportunities to teach our students about the importance of community involvement.

Community Partnerships

At The P.L.A.Y. School, we believe that it takes a village to raise a child, and part of our mission is to incorporate that village into our curriculum through community events and guest speakers throughout the school year.

Representatives from local schools, the school district and Early Childhood community leaders, fire, police and volunteers from city government return on an annual basis to participate in our outreach programs. We partner with multiple community resource agencies in order to provide support services to our families as well.

Our founders, Megan and Anastasia, share their knowledge and expertise in incorporating play, literacy and art into Early Childhood Education through workshops we offer to parents and educators in the community at large. Along with presenting here at the PLAY School, they have presented multiple times at the Palm Beach County ELC Empower Conference and will be presenting this year at the NAEYC annual conference in Nashville, TN.

 Please contact anastasia@thelayschoolbc.org
if you are interested in attending or hosting one of our workshops or presentations.

We are also an active member of the Delray Beach Chamber of Commerce, where we have the opportunity to build relationships with other community businesses and non-profit organizations.

We are always looking for more community partnerships. For more information, please email our Executive Director, Anastasia, at anastasia@theplayschoolpbc.org

Alumni Students and Parents Who Give Back

We have families that have been a part of our P.L.A.Y. School community for generations that are committed to volunteering their time, funds and skills for the betterment of the program. Alumni students of our previous program regularly return to complete required high school volunteer hours or to complete community service projects. We also always have alumni families return to participate in our community events.
